Formed in spring of this year, Elk Moon is a power trio based in Westwood, Los Angeles. Their high-energy, riff-heavy songs are inspired by classic and hard rock, but they embrace the experimentation available in our digital age, and their lyrics take on everything from philosophy to politics. The band's two songwriters, Luke and Drew, originally met while studying at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Now, reunited on the west coast, their new power trio has been playing on the Sunset Strip and in Pasadena -- as well as dropping their debut single, "Information Monopoly."
