Born in Burbank, Halfway to Happening is the passion project of multi-instrumentalist duo: Bliss and Mike Kirkhart. Friends and prior bandmates, Jerry and Jesse, help bring H2H to life by packing the rhythm section with precision and history, while the leading lovebirds freely soar through melodic guitar pairings, punctuated by bursts of keyboard. With musical influences spanning generations and lyrics expressive of universal themes, it's fair to say that their material is shaped not exclusively by one style, as much as an openness to possibility in what textures and dynamics each piece has to offer.
